Grace Okorie-Eric
Attorney Grace Okorie-Eric has concentrated her practice in the areas of Immigration, Civil, and Real Estate law. Upon graduation from law school, she served as a Supervising Attorney with The John Marshall Law School Fair Housing Legal Clinic where she instructed law students and litigated discrimination and civil rights violation cases in different venues which included federal, state and administrative courts.
Grace also worked at the U.S Department of Labor (DOL) and employment where she reviewed and analyzed H-2A, H-2B, H-1B, and LCA foreign labor applications by employers to ensure compliance with Federal regulations. She then went on to work at a major law firm in Chicago where she prepared and filed hundreds of H-1B petitions and associated applications with DOL and USCIS.
In her private practice Grace has represented numerous clients in the areas of family and business based immigration petitions, real estate transactions, landlord and tenant litigation, and a host of other matters.
